During this program, your treatment team will help you externalise your eating disorder whilst educating your family about the support they need to provide in your fight for freedom.
Program Goals
- To develop a treatment alliance between the individual who suffers and members of the treatment team
- To increase knowledge of the form and function of the eating disorder
- To enhance individual and family coping skills
- To help the individual see themselves as separate from their illness
- To participate in the development of a care plan which meet the needs of the individual and their family
Toward the end of your first eight weeks, your treatment team will make recommendations as to the level of intervention you require going forward.Your program, either Intensive Outpatient (IOP) or Outpatient, will be individually tailored and will feature a range of the components offered in the following stages.
