On Thursday the 29th of September, 2011 Bronte Cullis married her soulmate Nigel Hughes in a moving ceremony at Little Cove in Port Douglas. Witnessed by family and close friends, Bronte describes the moment she and Nigel became husband and wife as the "best day of her life". With not a dry eye in sight, Ray Martin and the channel nine crew were there to capture this inspirational event for the Australian public who have supported Bronte throughout her battle. The Cullis and Clarke families would like to thank everyone for all the love and support throughout the past 16 years. The message is, "whenever you face life's trials, never, ever, give up!!!!!!

Launched in June 2006 at the International Academy of Eating Disorders Annual Conference in Barcelona, Spain, at the inaugural World Summit on Eating Disorders, the Worldwide Charter for Action on Eating Disorders is a document detailing the rights and expectations of people with eating disorders and their families. The team at The Bronte Centre believes that broad acceptance of the Charter represents a defining step in the battle against eating disorders.
